We are so pleased that people are interested in contributing to our paper chains of dreams for the vacant lot at 110 Westminster Street. One local business lady we chatted with mentioned how she had recently moved from Hyannis. She shared with us how in Hyannis, a vacant lot has been transformed into a green space, where workers like herself could enjoy peaceful lunches on a nice day.
Just as I was writing this, a local delivery car stopped mid way down Westminster Street to see our installation. He shouted his disappointment that 110 Westminster has stayed vacant so long, and his desire to have some kind of green space. Seems to be a running theme…
